DocumentScribe
Built DocumentScribe for inspection and service businesses. Teams make custom forms, take photos on site and send PDF, HTML or email reports. It works offline and is sold as self-serve software.
The problem
Inspection and service businesses collect information on tablets or paper in the field.
Back at the office, someone reformats it into a report.
It takes more than one tool.
What I built
- Built DocumentScribe, a configurable app for inspection and service businesses.
- Teams build their own forms with the fields they need.
- A drag-and-drop designer lays out how the printed report looks.
- Reports come out as PDF, HTML or email with consistent branding.
- Reusable blocks of text save retyping.
- Each business has its own organization account, kept separate from other businesses.
- It works offline and syncs when a connection returns.
What a team can do now
- Fill in a custom form on any device, with photos.
- Generate a professional PDF report from the finished form.
- Email the report from the app.
My role
I built DocumentScribe and sell it as self-serve software. The source code is private.
