For engineering leaders choosing where to start with AI
AI Velocity Assessment
A prioritized plan for using AI in your team’s engineering workflow.
$2,500 CAD
Start with a free fit conversation. Scope and any paid work are agreed before work begins.
A good fit when…
- Your team is trying AI tools but lacks a consistent workflow.
- You have several possible projects and need a reasoned starting point.
- You want a plan before committing to training or integration.
Already have a defined task?
Describe the change you need, its constraints and what a useful result looks like. We can discuss the appropriate scope before you commit to anything.

01
A map of the current workflow
Where work moves from ticket to review, which tools are involved, and where the team gets stuck.
02
A prioritized opportunity list
Which AI workflows to try first, with effort, risks and the reasons behind each recommendation.
03
A practical evaluation plan
What to try on a real task, what evidence to collect, and how to decide whether to keep it.
04
A recommended next step
A plan your team can act on, with coaching or implementation options if you want help.
The Assessment is a diagnostic and recommendation engagement. Production implementation, ongoing coaching and tool subscriptions are scoped separately.

What to bring
One workflow you want to improve, the tools you already use, and the constraints that matter. Start with a non-confidential description. We agree the participants, schedule and any access needed before the Assessment begins.
Before you commit
Do I need to commit to implementation?
No. The Assessment gives you recommendations to act on. Coaching and implementation are separate decisions with their own scope.
How long will it take, and who needs to attend?
We agree the schedule and meeting commitment around the workflow being assessed. Start with the person responsible for that workflow; we identify any other contributors during the fit conversation.
What should I share first?
Describe one workflow, the problem and the outcome you want. A non-confidential ticket or process summary is enough to start. Please leave credentials and confidential code out of the inquiry form.
What about code access and AI providers?
We discuss the minimum access needed before work starts. Self-hosted tools can still call hosted AI providers, so provider and data restrictions belong in the agreed scope.
Can we discuss confidentiality and ownership?
Yes. Bring your NDA, data-handling and deliverable-ownership requirements to the fit conversation so they can be addressed in the engagement agreement.
What if we need a smaller starting point?
Tell me your priority and constraints. We can discuss what is practical to scope first, then agree the work and price before you commit.
